HRN pioneered the use of a new generation of Stable Matting over 30 years ago when we introduced solid rubber mats to Britain following successful use in the Dutch dairy industry.

The concept of reducing conventional bedding with a high quality solid rubber mat has since gained widespread acceptance among horse owners with more than 300,000 in use in Britain alone.

HRN horse mats are long lasting with a 10 year guarantee – most of the companies original mats are still in use today – they save money, reduce labour costs and improve hygiene. Easy to install, rubber bedding mats need no maintenance and can simply be power washed clean.

Independent research has shown a substantial reduction in leg and foot injuries among horse's when using rubber mats in stables – with a consequent saving in vet's bills. The excellent heat insulation properties of HRN mats increase animal comfort, while extra hygiene of an easy clean surface reduces potential infection.

Stokbord

Stockbord is a reconstituted 9mm or 12mm thick plastic sheet with continuous textured black surface both sides. Used by many well known manufacturers of stabling and horseboxes, it is favoured by top trainers, studs, showjumpers and eventers because it is not only a warm safe material, but it is also durable, rot proof, non-toxic, hygienic, non-absorbent, and chew resistant. The maintenance free sheet is easy to work and can be quickly installed using DIY tools (nailed, screwed, sawn, drilled etc).

HRN Horse Wall Mats

These mats are manufactured from the same durable rubber as our floor mats but are only 10mm thick therefore making them lighter and more pliable and ideal for fixing to stables walls, trying boards, etc. They will withstand high pressure cleaning and the use of strong disinfectants. A hardwood strip can be fitted around the top edge of the wall mats to give a pleasing finish to a stable.

Rubber Block Paving

Thick rubber block in a range of colours which can be fitted to reduce impact to horse legs & prolong the life of the concrete surface beneath! These can also be used in veterinary hospital walkways or lead-up areas outside & will withstand heavy constant wear. They can be loose laid or permanently fixed with our specialist adhesive.
